Our History
After more than 30 years’ experience in metal carpentry, in 1998 Mr Paolino Merlotti decided to start his own handcrafted activity to build industrial plants and machinery independently.
Mr Merlotti’s career started with manufacturing purposes. He was called to deal with the whole production cycle in several settings, by looking at the process from the project till the assembly and welding work; thanks to this experience Mr Merlotti acquired skills which let him improve his technical knowledge.
The factory dealt with carpentry and special plants construction, into a setting where competitors were very few. In that period new cooperations started, expecially about the contructions of plants for the aluminium extrusion.
Last 2009 Mr Merlotti’s son, Matteo, mechanical Ingeneer, entered the company and the Merlotti Srl was born. Mr Matteo Merlotti is the actual owner and Administrator.
With the arrival of Mr Matteo, the company moved towards new settings: robotics, industrial automation, transfer machineries, steelplants, special machineries.
The Company Nowadays
Merlotti Srl offers its customers different services developed by its interior mechanical department:
Mechanical design of industrial plants, machines and equipments (metal carpentry structures, special machineries, protective casings, conveyors…).
Thanks to the arrival of Mr Matteo Merlotti , a new young impulse is given to the company. The new strong points Merlotti Srl is made on are mechanical design, structural tests, mechanical processing, painting, surface treatments and mechanical assembly. All these processes can be handled by the interior staff.
The idea to include new services was developed to satisfy the customer needs who has the necessity to entrust the whole work to a unique supplier. The result?

This is the history of the actual Merlotti Srl: from handcrafted activity to well organized society. The staff is composed by 15 employees and the company currently occupies a 1500 mq covered facility. Most of the customers are located in the North of Italy but the company has recently moved to foreign countries too.
Since 1998: machinery and carpentry assembly, product design, structural verification, machining, painting, surface treatments.
